In addition to letter grades, a number of special symbols are permitted on transcripts to more accurately describe a student’s performance in a course or the way in which the final grade was achieved.  Those symbols include ATT, EX, INC.  For information on the meaning and use of these grades please see the Office of the Registrar Policies.
